Got to go on my last artsbus with the george mason art department for the first time with my sweet sister to meet up with our awesome cousin jenny who lives in the city. she recommended we check out the highline, so we did. And we loved it very much. A wonderful start to our long day. We waited outside the yoga studio for Jenny for a short while just people watching. Eventually we went inside to explore and we found her putting her shoes on. She took us to this awesome taco place in Soho that she had been wanting to check out. They had the YUMMIEST teas and juices. I had a tamarind sweet tea, and Jenny got a watermelon and lime juice. She and I both got a breakfast taco and Heather got the coolest looking crispy fish taco. Mmmmmm. They were cooking these tacos out of a VW bus. We walked through Little Italy and stopped at Sal's for a slice, then made our way to union square for some window shopping and some ice cream. Then last of all we stopped at Cosi for some apple cider and waited to meet with Christof, Jenny's hub hubs before heading back up towards the Met. But as per tradition, I had to take Heather to the Shake Shack for a burger. So pretty much all we did was walk a lot and eat a lot. But it was a perfect day.
