Anatomy ultrasound today. Had Thomas and both our moms with us. I hadn't spent much time wondering or hoping for either a little boy or a little girl. I didn't want to have to wonder. I just tried my best not to think about it until finally this day arrived and I was able to find out. Loved having all of the various parts of her pointed out to us from every angle, even though half the time I couldn't tell what I was looking at. But regardless. My little girl. Love. 

garlic soup.

The kitchen is clean, I've looked through a soup recipe book and marked some possible things to try in the near future. Now I've got laundry in front of me and the cooking channel on. I feel like a good wife today. I like the days where I feel like that.

A special night, and we decided to stay in. Wine for Thomas, and a sip for me, and threw together this simple recipe I found via Pinterest. Was a relaxing evening next to my babe.

17 weeks.

Starting to poke out a bit. Feeling so lucky and blessed with this baby. Haven't been sick, had mood swings, or any weird cravings. Just being me. It's nice.
