Zipped out to deliver some wedding photos to a super great couple! And on the way home I stopped at the store for some root beer and ice cream. Yup.

Baby gifts from friends been arriving in the mail. Was excited to see these awesome glass bottles today! Can't wait to use them! And turns out, I can get sippy cup tops for them down the road too! They'll last forever! Thanks Lindsey! :D

filing and such.

Our filing cabinet got stuffed in Thomas's closet when we moved, and since then I've had trouble keeping up with our mail and statements and important papers. So I pulled out all sorts of files today and did a little overhaul. Felt really good! Now only to get them back into the filing cabinet. Someday!

some classics.

Went out to run errands with Thomas and we hit a lot of stores! We had a couple purchases in mind for ourselves, but after the first three stores, all we had bought were things for baby. Can't help it!

the best eggs.

I always thought I knew how to make scrambled eggs pretty well, until one day I had some that Thomas made. Ever since then, when we make breakfast together, I always try to leave the egg cooking to him. Sigh. So spoiled this morning.

37 weeks.

So much belly! I bump into all sorts of things every day! Oops, sorry baby. Still feeling great though! Just trying to stay cool inside and stuff. 

Went to John and Theresa's for father's day celebrations yesterday! Loving the homey additions to their barn style house. Was the perfectly comfy space to enjoy the weather as well as good company and yummy foods.

Spent some of the morning and afternoon finishing up some bits and pieces of the nursery so that it would be all prepped and ready for baby girl! So happy with the space. Makes me so happy to be inside. Read more to see other photos and hear some bits and pieces about various things in the room.

Can't get over this little guy! Was so looking forward to getting to meet him and spend some time with his mama! Then Thomas ended up being able to come and Jem's daddy was able to stop by last minute also! Lots of catching up and conversation and lots of adorable baby. Quite the enjoyable afternoon.

The past couple weeks have been ridiculously busy preparing for the launch of our new website (www.sweetrootvillage.com) as well as preparing the studio space for our open house! Tonight was the open house event and it went so well! We just feel so grateful for all the kind emails and words from those not present as well as the encouraging words and emails from those that were able to attend! Feeling so excited for the future.
